Terms of Service

Loop is a golf-tracking and social app ("Loop", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Loop. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age where you live) to use Loop.

You sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information (your real name and username) and keep it current. You can delete your account and its data at any time in the app (Profile → About → Delete Account) or by contacting support@thegolfloop.com; deletion removes your rounds, posts, and profile from our systems.

You own the rounds, scores, photos, comments, and other content you create. By posting to Loop you grant us a limited license to store and display that content to the people you choose to share it with (per your visibility settings) and to operate the app. You are responsible for the content you post and must not upload anything unlawful, infringing, or abusive.

Loop Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered as a monthly or annual plan, and may include a free trial. Price and any trial length are shown on the paywall before you buy and are charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings; any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Purchases are handled by the app store and RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider — we do not receive or store your card details.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by Loop.

Course information combines open data from OpenStreetMap contributors (© OSM, ODbL), scorecard data from GolfCourseAPI, a curated championship registry, and community-submitted scorecards. It may be approximate or incomplete. Loop is for recreational tracking; do not rely on it for official handicap posting, competition rulings, or navigation.

AI Swing Analysis (a Loop Pro feature) generates coaching from still frames of a swing video you choose to submit. The feedback is automated, qualitative, and can be wrong — it is not professional instruction, and you use it at your own judgment. Only submit videos of yourself (or someone who has agreed).

Do not misuse Loop: no fake accounts, no scraping, no attempts to break security or access data that isn't yours, no harassment of other golfers, and no submission of deliberately false course data. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

Loop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Handicap indexes, projections, statistics, and AI coaching are estimates computed from the data you log and are not official USGA/WHS values or professional instruction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loop is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be noted in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. Questions? Contact support@thegolfloop.com.
